A Special Open House, Friday August 11th, 6pm-8pm

We here at Muddy Boot Prints are excited to announce that we’re doing one more Open House before the summer is done at Trillium North Park. It will happen on Friday August 11th, 6pm-8pm. We’re teaming up with EartHand Gleaners Society for an evening of community engagement. Not only will we have information on our programs for curious parents to read, we’ll have instructors on hand to answer any questions and cool art projects for the children to engage. Registration forms will be on hand for families to fill out too. Spots are filling up so don’t delay in registration!

Trillium will be a buzz with activity that Friday night as EartHand Gleaners Society  is hosting an evening of spinning flax into linen as a part of the Vines Festival. Sharon Kallis and the gang will be teaching folks how to drop spindle flax fiber to spin it into yarn and using the big walking wheel to spin fiber too. Lori Weidenhammer, an award winning author,  will also be offering some art exploration on learning the different kinds of pollinator species.

At Muddy Boot Prints, community is a big part of our program. EartHand Gleaners Society is a vital part of our community as we work alongside them as much as we can when we’re at Trillium Park. This evening is a wonderful opportunity to come out, learn about Muddy Boot Prints,  and meet part of the community that surrounds us while we’re at Trillium.
