Our afternoon program spends it’s time at Trout Lake throughout the year. Trout Lake offers a large area to explore throughout the year where we enjoy the delights of the beach, the cover of the cedars and the adventures that the Golden Hill bring us just to name a few spots! We learn about the local ecology of the bird life, the pond as well as the trees and all animals and life that exist within the park. We are honoured to have this space as our classroom and take great pride in caring for the park while we are in it.
It’s with great sadness that we announce the closing of all Muddy Boot Prints programming this coming June 2025. After 8 wonderful years of operation out of public parks in Vancouver, Muddy Boot Prints owner and Director Belva Stone will be moving to the Shuswap with her husband to be closer to family. Thank you families for your trust and friendship over the years. It’s been a true gift and deeply honoured. There is a possibility that in time, MBP might open up a Salmon Arm chapter!
Muddy Boot Prints strives to connect children with the natural environment…. in the middle of a bustling city. Vancouver is a diverse city in both it’s culture and it’s landscapes. It is a host to a wide variety of parks that offer a never ending change in landscape and exploration opportunities. Multiple programs are located throughout Vancouver between MacDonald St and Renfrew St. Muddy Boot Prints is an outdoor early learning program offering classes for 2.5- 6 yr olds, 4 days a week in both the morning (east and west) and afternoon (east side only).
